Nayeli Contreras, the curator of this exhibit, is a Senior at the University of Connecticut in the Human Rights Archives l class taught by Catherine Masud taught during Fall 2022. The items featured in the following exhibit was from members of the Armenian community in the New England region who were interviewed this semester. This class was the collaborative effort of the Digital Media and Design Department, the Human Rights Institute, and the Office of Global Affairs at UConn. Special thanks goes out to Sara Anderson, Diana Colpitts, Mari Firkatian, and Jennie Garabedian for allowing the class to learn more about their family history and sharing their personal collections with us.
